A joyful and hope-filled time begins today! In just a few days—or even hours—we will welcome a new Holy Father.
During these important moments, the archbishop invites us to take part in two meaningful actions:
- First, let us unite in prayer—Let us ask the Holy Spirit to guide and inspire the cardinals in their decision. Whether through prayer vigils, adoration, or the rosary, everyone is encouraged to pray in their own way for the election of our new Pope.
- When the white smoke appears—a sign that a new Pope has been chosen—ring your church bells in thanksgiving! Let the joy resound far and wide: the Church has a new Shepherd!
And in the days that follow, let us join in celebrating a Mass of Thanksgiving with our parish community, united in joy, faith, and prayer during this historic time!
