The March for Life is a peaceful march through the streets of Ottawa to defend the life of the unborn.

We mourn the passing of RJ (Bob) Ramsay husband of Dee Ramsay of our parish. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Faustina Parish on Friday, May 9th at 11:00 a.m. followed by a reception in the parish hall.

The Knights of Columbus will be distributing roses during our "Roses for Life" campaign at all masses on Saturday May 10 and Sunday May 11.
All donations will be in support of the Miriam Centre.
The CWL continues to accept donations for the baby bottle fundraising drive. Kindly deposit your baby bottles in the labelled bin available in the foyer of the church or give it to a CWL attendee.

The New Parish Photo Directory is coming soon!
Meet the volunteers in the entrance of the church to book your time slot for an appointment. Bookings begin this weekend, May 10-11, before and after each Mass.
Photos will be taken in the basement hall at St. Faustina Parish on:
- Tuesday, June 3rd from 2:30pm to 9pm
- Wednesday, June 4th from 2:30pm to 9pm
- Thursday, June 5th from 2:30pm to 9pm
- Friday, June 6th from 2:30pm to 9pm
- Saturday, June 7th from 9:30am to 3pm
The details:
- A free Parish Photo Directory will be made available to each family that has photos taken.
- Photo sessions are 15 minutes long.
- Those unable to attend a photoshoot will have the option to submit a photograph at a cost of $20 plus tax.
- Portrait photos will be available to be done for single, couple or family at 30% less cost than other professional photographers and a consultant will be available to discuss your photos.
- Payments are accepted by Visa, MasterCard, Debit, cash and personal cheques.

The Knights of Columbus will be holding a "Bean / Macaroni & Beef Supper" on Friday May 30th in the parish hall. This is a fundraiser to support the many charities which the Council supports. These include the food banks in both Orleans and Rockland, the Miriam Centre, Coats for Kids, Christmas baskets and a bursary at St. Francis Xavier Catholic High School.
• There will be two seatings 4:45 to 6:00PM and 6:30 – 8:00PM.
• Tickets are available for $15.00 for adults and $10.00 for children 12 and under.
• Tickets are available from the Knights in the foyer after each weekend Mass.
Proposed Seating
The proposed seating capacity of the church's main sanctuary space remains targeted at 450 seats with over flow possible into the adjoining foyer areas.
A final decision on accommodation will come when a class “D”estimate of the building is made and we have a better understanding of the cost of the total project.
Note: a class “D” estimate is a rough costing based on a general understanding of the area, size, and quality of the build, graduating up to a Class “A” estimate when all the building details are available and costed just prior to tender.

Hike for Life
From Darcy Dalton - A big THANKS to all St. Faustina parishioners who sponsored me for the Hike for Life. This was another great year of sponsorship from St. Faustina Parish to aid Action Life by donating a wonderful sum of $1110.00 dollars.
The mercy of the Lord is praised by the holy souls in heaven who have themselves experienced that infinite mercy. What these souls do in heaven, I already will begin to do here on earth. I will praise God for His infinite goodness, and I will strive to bring other souls to know and glorify the inexpressible and incomprehensible mercy of God.
