The Divine Mercy Cenacle at St Faustina Parish will be having adoration and praise & worship tonight (Monday) from 7:00-8:30pm. Prayer ministry will be available. All are welcome to join us as we prepare our hearts for Holy Week.
Donate an Easter Lily
With Easter coming we are once again asking parishioners if they would like to donate an Easter Lily in memory of a loved one. Lilies can be dropped off at the church before or after any weekend or weekday mass starting Saturday April 12th until Thursday April 17th. Thank you!
Good Friday - Public Way of the Cross
Participants are asked to gather at St Patrick Elementary School (1001 Heritage Dr.) for 9:30am Good Friday morning. The procession from the school to Très-Ste-Trinité church will begin around 10:00am. There will be shuttle services between the school and the church before and after the procession. In case of rain, all will be cancelled.
The Divine Mercy Novena begins on Good Friday
On Sunday April 27th we celebrate the 1st Sunday after Easter, otherwise known as Divine Mercy Sunday. Jesus asked of Saint Faustina, that the Feast of the Divine Mercy be preceded by a Novena to the Divine Mercy that would begin on Good Friday.
About the Divine Mercy Novena
In her diary, Saint Faustina wrote that Jesus told her:
"On each day of the novena you will bring to My heart a different group of souls and you will immerse them in this ocean of My mercy ... On each day you will beg My Father, on the strength of My passion, for the graces for these souls.
I desire that the Feast of Mercy be a refuge and shelter for all souls, and especially for poor sinners. On that day the very depths of My tender mercy are open. I pour out a whole ocean of graces upon those souls who approach the fount of My mercy.
The soul that will go to Confession and receive Holy Communion shall obtain complete forgiveness of sins and punishment.
On that day all the divine floodgates through which grace flow are opened. Let no soul fear to draw near to Me, even though its sins be as scarlet... It is My desire that (The Feast of Mercy) be solemnly celebrated on the first Sunday after Easter. Mankind will not have peace until it turns to the Fount of My Mercy." (Diary 699)
To fittingly observe the Feast of Mercy, we should:
1. Celebrate the Feast on the Sunday after Easter (or its Vigil).
2. Sincerely repent of all our sins.
3. Place our complete trust in Jesus.
4. Go to Confession, preferably before the Feast.
5. Receive Holy Communion on the day of the Feast (or its Vigil).
6. Venerate the Image of The Divine Mercy.
7. Be merciful to others, through our actions, words, and prayers on their behalf.
To receive the Extraordinary Graces of this Feast, the only condition is to receive Holy Communion worthily on Divine Mercy Sunday (or the Vigil celebration) by making good confession beforehand and staying in the state of grace and trusting in His Divine Mercy.
A Plenary Indulgence can be obtained by fulfilling the usual conditions.

Diocesan Wedding Anniversary Mass 2025
An Anniversary Mass be celebrated for those celebrating 60 (or more), 50, 40, 30, 25, 20, 15, 10 & 5 years of marriage in 2025 at Notre Dame Cathedral on Sunday, May 4, 2:30 pm. The registration form is now available at https://forms.office.com/r/jpBDLwD0Kg. Please register before Easter to ensure your place!

Action Life's Annual 'Hike for Life'
This year's event occurs on Saturday April 26th starting from St. Theresa's Catholic Church, 95 Somerset Street W Ottawa. Darcy & Darlene Dalton are asking for sponsors to support this worthy cause. Sponsor sheets and envelopes will be at the back of the church. A tax receipt will be made available for donations of over $20. Your contribution can be left in the collection basket during mass or at the back of the church in an envelope labelled 'Hike for Life'.
All are welcome to join in the walk and share the fun with your family, other parishes and friendly hikers. Thank you for your support.
The 2025 Baby Bottle Fundraising Drive
This drive supports the Miriam Centre, a Pregnancy Care Centre in Orleans providing love and compassion to all those who find themselves in difficult circumstances surrounding their pregnancy.
On the weekend of April 26 - 27, women of the CWL will be handing out baby bottles and asking parishioners to deposit a cheque or cash in the bottle. The bottle should be returned to the church on the following weekend of May 3 - 4 with your donation. For those who prefer to donate electronically, we will also have a QR code available that weekend.

Knights of Columbus Bean Supper
The Knights of Columbus will be holding a Bean Supper on Friday May 30th in the parish hall. This is a fundraiser to assist the Council for the many charities which it supports such as the food banks in both Orleans and Rockland, the Miriam Centre, Coats for Kids, Christmas baskets and a bursary at St. Francis Xavier Catholic High School.
There will be two seatings 4:45 to 6:00PM and 6:30 – 8:00PM. Tickets are available for $15.00 for adults and $10.00 for children 12 and under. Tickets are available from the Knights in the foyer after each mass starting on Saturday April 26th.
